Liam Gordon has admitted that he lacked the fitness to play for Bolton Wanderers last season but believes his loan spell at Dagenham and Redbridge has helped equip him for this season in League One.

The 22-year-old joined Wanderers last summer and put pen to paper on a two-year deal at the club.
