Proud Manc Liam Gallagher danced with his fans in the city centre after he headed to record an incredible live music video on the rooftop of the city's Midland Hotel. Rock 'n' roll star Liam took over the rooftop of the historic hotel to film his new music video under sunny skies on Thursday.
The shoot caused such a stir that groups of fans and onlookers assembled around the luxurious hotel on Peter Street in the city centre to see if they could look up to the roof and hear him perform new track Better Days across Thursday afternoon. And Liam did his bit to thank the fans straight after the shoot - by heading down to greet the crowds outside The Midland at around 7.30pm.
Oasis legend Liam headed down to ground level to meet with giddy fans - captured in impromptu videos captured outside the side entrance to The Midland on Thursday night. In the video above, fans are heard chanting "Liam" as the Burnage- raised rocker raises his arms and nods his head.

He then joins them all for a cheeky dance as they bounce together chanting his name, before spending time chatting to fans and posing for photos. A fan who captured a video said: "His energy was amazing really. It was so nice to see his kindness to his fans."
Liam was joined by his fellow founding Oasis bandmate Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs for the video shoot on the "secret" rooftop at The Midland. The roof space has not been open to the public for over 100 years.
And it appears that Manchester certainly did him "proud" during the shoot - perhaps a sign of just how stunning the city looked from up on top of the roof seven floors up in central Manchester on a sunny Thursday.
