‘Law & Order’: Anthony Anderson Says He Has Been Approached About Returning For Revival On NBC

at the end of season 16, Danny Pino is back, reprising his role as Nick Amaro for the series’ 500th episode, which sees the former detective turning to Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and the SVU team for help clearing a convicted man’s name. Speaking to ET, Pino opened up about his return to the franchise, what he thinks about Amaro’s off-screen evolution, and if this will open the door for more episodes or appearances down the road.

First inaugurated in 2014 the annual event has honored standout achievements in Black filmmaking, and this year will be the first to also incorporate excellence in television as well. It will take place on Monday December 6 at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel and will feature an overall 20 award categories.
