LAUSD superintendent Austin Beutner made it official Monday, saying all schools in the nation’s second-largest district will be physically closed for the rest of the 2019-2020 academic year and through summer school. The district has been shut down since March 16 because of the coronavirus crisis.

High school seniors quarantined all across the country are missing out on of one the biggest milestones of their lives, but LeBron James is not having it. According to The Hollywood Reporter, James has announced plans to host a one-hour virtual graduation called Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020, giving seniors across America the chance to toss their caps in the air.
Basketball superstar Lebron James is to host a star-studded virtual graduation TV and streaming special for America’s high school students.
As many of you know, due to the pandemic high school seniors across the country are not able to have a traditional senior year when it comes to celebrating their accomplishments as they move on to the next phases of their lives. Unfortunately, with everything shut down they cannot experience their senior prom or even a traditional graduation ceremony.
With the Class of 2020 unable to throw their caps in the air this year due to the coronavirus,LeBron James is putting on a special graduation celebration. The NBA superstar is partnering with Laurene Powell Jobs' XQInstitute and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) to host a virtual graduation ceremony for the more than 3 million high school seniors in the U.S.

As the novel coronavirus outbreak has overturned college graduation plans nationwide, one college-focused media brand is planning a star-studded virtual ceremony to celebrate the Class of 2020. Her Campus, the female-focused company that owns Spoon University, College Fashionista and InfluenceHer Collective, announced Monday that it is organizing "I'm Still Graduating,” an online graduation ceremony, to take place Friday, May 15, at 12 p.m.
Hugh Jackman only agreed to hit pause on his friendly feud with Ryan Reynolds at the request of their wives, actresses Deborra-Lee Furness and Blake Lively.
Since concert venues of all sizes shut down around the globe in mid-March, artists have been adjusting in order to stay engaged with their fans, remain artistically inspired and simply stay busy.
