Lamar Odom, the former husband of reality star Khloé Kardashian and ex NBA player, has reportedly offered Gypsy Rose Blanchard $30,000 worth of dental treatment. The 44 year old launched his company Oxy Dental last year, a dental surgery committed to "crafting healthy, beautiful smiles - one appointment at a time." According to reports, Lamar reached out to the 32 year old following her release from prison. For those unaware, Gypsy served eight years of a 10 year sentence for her role in the murder of her abusive mother, Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard in 2015.
Gypsy had been the victim of her mother's Munchausen-by-proxy and was falsely and repeatedly told that she was a sick child, which led to her receiving a number of unnecessary medical treatments over the years.
This included having her teeth and salivary glands removed after her mother claimed she had tooth decay. Gypsy's mother convinced doctors she needed the surgery by using numbing agents on her gums. Following the procedure, the 32 year was left with 16 teeth.
In terms of Gypsy's current dental health, she has false teeth and stainless crowns. As per TMZ, Lamar reached out to Gypsy on social media - where she is now somewhat of a viral celebrity - and offered her the work free of charge. Sources say that Lamar felt "compelled" to help her after he learned what she went through as a child.
