Who says safety can’t be fashionable? Lady Gaga revealed how much pride she felt by getting to perform the “Star Spangled Banner” at President Joe Biden‘s inauguration back in January in an interview with British Vogue published on November 2. The 35-year-old singer admitted to feeling afraid during former President Donald Trump’s administration, and that she’ll always remember getting to usher in Biden’s presidency.

Lady Gaga has reflected on the opportunity to sing at President Joe Biden’s inauguration, with the singer recalling how she performed “in a Schiaparelli bulletproof dress”. The House of Gucci star discussed what the experience meant to her during a cover interview with British Vogue, where she revealed that the day is “something I’ll be able to tell my children all about”.

Lady GaGa wants to make one thing very clear: her work on the upcoming film House of Gucci was VERY mentally taxing.
