Kym Marsh has shared a sweet video of her dad ringing the bell to mark him "fighting back" in his terminal cancer journey.The presenter and singer, 46, who previously revealed her dad was terminally ill after being diagnosed with prostate cancer in March 2021, shared the emotional video of him on her Instagram page. Alongside the clip of him ringing a bell at the hospital, she wrote: "This is our wonderful daddy. For people that don’t know, he has incurable cancer, but is being treated by the amazing doctors and nurses at his local cancer centre to keep the horrible disease away for as long as possible.
"He started a new treatment and although he will never get to ring the end of treatment bell to mark the end of his journey with cancer, he got to ring it to mark the beginning of a new journey of hope and to give him a chance to say, 'I’m fighting back.'" In the video, David can be seen reading out a written message before ringing the bell.
Kym then filmed the nurses in the hospital clapping for her dad.Taking to the comment section, many fans sent their messages of love. One person said: "Sending much love to you all. Stay strong and carry on.
