Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan share the screen once again. The Aussie stars reunited for a spook-tacular special of the hit BBC sitcom Ghosts as part of this year's Comic Relief. The comedy sketch saw the singer, 54 arrive at Button House to see if it was suitable a concert venue, but when left alone with the ghosts, she tells them all to 'shut up' letting on that she can actually see and hear them.
Revealing how she came to have the secret power; she tells the Ghosts: 'You know the rollerskating montage in the Spinning Around video? I had a fall, banged my head, and now I can see Ghosts. 'As the sketch continues, the Ghosts refuse to believe that she is infact the real Kylie, so she calls up her old flame Jason, to convince them that she really is the pint-sized popstar. Putting in a Facetime call to her pal who is walking along a beach, the Loco-Motion singer says 'Can you please just say it?' to which Jason exclaims, 'You're Kylie Minogue'.
Whilst the cameo was just 6 seconds long, it sent fans into a frenzy at seeing the pair back together again and the show received rave reviews. 'Best sketch ever' one person wrote. Another described it as 'Just perfect'.
'Absolutely brilliant' someone else tweeted. The Neighbours icons – who also dated off the show - were loved by many when they played the young couple in the 80s. Their onscreen wedding as Scott and Charlene was watched by two million Australians on July 1, 1987.
When it aired in the UK a year later, it drew in 19. 6 million viewers, making it Britain's third most-watched show of 1988. The famous pair did appear on screen together last year in what was thought to be the final episode of Neighbours.
