Kristen Stewart makes a casual arrival for her Spencer conversation held at 92Y in New York City on Friday (March 11).
The 31-year-old actress opened up about her movie with Thelma Adams, which she received an Oscar nomination for.
Earlier this week, Kristen issued an open letter to fans and press about the film, urging them to see the movie for its focus on mental health.

“To be a part of a film like SPENCER, to work alongside people like Pablo [Larrain, director]… who is tireless and inimitable and tender and DRIVING… and the virtuoso that is Claire Mathon our DP… and Johnny Greenwood who wrote music from another world and Guy Hendricks who created equally enthralling and consuming environments and Jackie Durran’s intricate and thoughtful costumes that were poems in themselves… is a complete and utter dream for me,” she wrote.
Kristen added that “Diana brought us together. She continues to cast shadows. She continues to refract a luminosity that leads us to ourselves and each other… I am deeply thankful for her life and even as an “outsider gutted by the loss. Luckily what I learned is that with Diana Spencer there is grief but there is no absence. She will always be a part of a foundational way forward, in love…”
“Finding that connection helped me come to a deeper understanding of the mental health struggles we are all vulnerable to. The need for us to be open and to talk about them. Address them. And not hide from them. To not hide from ourselves. From each other That actually is vital.”
