Kourtney Kardashian's wedding to Travis Barker was certainly an affair to remember. The eldest of the Kardashian sisters, 43, previously said she never wanted to marry but when she started dating her Blink-182 beau, 46, everything changed. When Travis popped the question to Kourtney he did so in style on the beach in California last year and presented her with a ring that experts believe to be worth £750,000 with the diamond weighing 6 carats.
In true Kardashian style, the pair had two weddings to celebrate their love; the first in a courthouse in America with just a handful of guests and then a bigger, grander affair in Italy that was sponsored by fashion brand D&G. Recently Kourtney flaunted her hand with its massive diamond and brand new wedding band on Instagram and experts weighed in to discuss the stunning band.
Diamond expert, Maxwell Stone from UK retailer, Steven Stone estimates the value of the band to be £150,000 – significantly less than her dazzling engagement ring, which was valued at £750,000.The eternity band is studded with oval cut diamonds - a shape that “bursts with brilliance and fire” and is likely to have a total carat weight of 6 carats. The couple’s wedding bands were designed by Lorraine Schwartz, who also designed Kourtney’s engagement ring.
Maxwell commented: “Designed by Lorraine Schwartz, who designed her engagement ring, Kourtney’s wedding ring is the perfect match and the pair look stunning together. “With an estimated carat weight of 6 carats, the elegant band is wholly covered with oval-shaped diamonds.
It is a unique and precious design that enables the beauty of the finger and represents eternity”. Previously diamond expert Anthony French, of specialists Austen & Blake, spoke to OK!
