Bullet For My Valentine have confirmed the release of a deluxe version of 2021’s self-titled album and shared the first new track – listen to ‘Omen’ below.‘Bullet For My Valentine’ is the group’s seventh album. The expanded version will feature the original ten tracks plus four new ones alongside b-side ‘Stitches’ which was previously only available in Japan.The first of those new tracks ‘Omen’ was released Friday (April 8).

Poliça have announced details of new album ‘Madness’ and shared the pulsating first single from the record – listen to ‘Alive’ below.‘Madness’ is out June 3 and has been described as “something of a companion piece” to 2020’s ‘When We Stay Alive’.The album was mostly recorded between 2020 and 2021 in Ryan Olson’s Minneapolis studio and was partially created by anthropomorphic production tool “AllOvers(c)”, which was designed by Olson and fellow producer and sound-artist Seth Rosetter.According to vocalist Channy Leaneagh, the lyrics across ‘Madness’ represent the idea that “I am here for you all and I am never truly myself here. Slaves drummer Isaac Holman has announced details of his debut solo album, which will be released under the name Baby Dave.‘Monkey Brain’ will be self-released on April 22, and features instrumental and production contributions from Blur and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn as well new single ’29’.It follows the project’s first single ‘Too Shy For Tennis’, which was released last summer and was also assisted by Albarn.’29’ was written when Holman challenged himself to compose a track during an uneventful coach journey. You can hear the lo-fi electronic track, along with an appropriately bus-themed video below.“There really isn’t much of a story behind this tune, but that’s kind of the whole point,” Holman said.

Trivium’s Matt Heafy has shared a heavy new collaboration with Gerard Way from his solo black metal project Ibaraki’s upcoming debut album, ‘Rashomon’.The new track, titled ‘Rōnin’, features screamed vocals from the My Chemical Romance frontman, as well as composition from Emperor’s Ihsahn. The nine-minute track also comes with a kaleidoscopic music video that sees two people being brainwashed and hypnotised.Watch the music video for ‘Rōnin’ below.Heafy revealed on Twitter that the track’s screamed vocals were performed entirely by Way, and were his “favourite moment” on the song.

Def Leppard have announced the release of their first album in seven years – listen to lead single ‘Kick’ below.‘Diamond Star Halos’ is the veteran rock band’s 12th full-length album, and it’s their first since their 2015 self-titled LP.
