Hibs striker Kevin Nisbet and defender Rocky Bushiri have both been spotted in training ahead of their respective injury comebacks.
Nisbet has been sidelined for six months since suffering a painful torn ACL injury against Celtic at Easter Road. Assistant Jamie McAllister revealed earlier this month that the Scotland international had been involved in light passing drills and they have been closely monitoring his progression in a bid not to rush him back.
Bushiri meanwhile was confirmed to have picked up a 'significant' injury according to his club after a scan on his ankle following a heavy training ground challenge revealed damage needing two months to recover from. Both the former Norwich City defender and Nisbet have been spotted together ahead of Hibs' return to action this weekend away at Ross County in the Premiership, Bushiri involved with the group while his teammate has been pictured with the ball at his feet.
Manager Lee Johnson said last week that a return after the World Cup break in November and the first half of December was a likely course of action for his striker.
He said of Nisbet: “Soon he'll be working individually with the coaches and hopefully getting a bit more elasticity through the joint and the muscles.
"Once we tick those boxes with no set-backs he can be drip-fed into the first-team training. But it'll be after the international break. He'll be ready when he's ready. "
