Kevin Hart is warning his followers about the dangers of aging in a public service announcement after he was confined to a wheelchair.
The 44-year-old actor took to social media on Wednesday (August 23) to explain what had happened to leave him injured. His video prompted a multitude of reactions from his fellow celebrities.

“Ladies and gentleman, the age 40 is real. To all my men, women out there that are 40 years old and above, it’s not a game. Respect that age,” he said in the clip. “Or that age will make you respect it. I was just forced to respect it.”
What happened? “I tried to jump out there and do some young stuff,” Kevin said. “I was told to sit my ass down.”
More specifically, Kevin said that he agreed to race former NFL star Stevan Ridley, 34, who was a running back for the Patriots. They competed in a 40-yard dash. It did not go well.
“Guys, I blew all my s-it,” Kevin said. “Tore my lower abdomen. My abductors are torn. I don’t even know what that is, but I tore them. I tore those, too. I can’t walk. Sit my ass down. This is 44.”
He continued, saying, “What am I doing? Why did I even race?! Stupidest s-it ever. Now I can’t walk.”
The actor added that he would likely be out of commission for six to eight weeks.
