Kevin Bacon says he'd be willing to play Joe Exotic in a 'Tiger King' movie

Trick-or-treaters can now dress as Joe Exotic — otherwise known as the “Tiger King,” a self-described “gay, gun-carrying redneck with a mullet” — thanks to PETA.

Kevin Bacon has said goodbye to one of his most iconic "Footloose" dances. In the popular 1980s flick, Bacon performs a particularly angsty dance in an empty warehouse to the song "Never" by Moving Pictures, which is also featured on the movie's soundtrack.

Hundreds flocked this weekend to the reopening of Tiger King Park, the exotic animal zoo that was featured in Netflix’s docu-series “Tiger King” and previously owned by Joe Exotic.

With rumours circulating that Nicolas Cage is set to star as Joe Exotic in a new eight part scripted series on the Tiger King, there is one Scottish contender who thinks he would be perfect for the role.

Variety is reporting that Nicolas Cage is attached to play the role of Joe Exotic in a scripted series which will run for eight episodes produced by Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios. The trade says that the series, which is set to be Cage’s first ever, will be based on the article “Joe Exotic: A Dark Journey Into the World of a Man Gone Wild,” by Leif Reigstad.

The similarities between the two -- charismatic blondes guided by their passion for music and relentless pursuit of success -- are indeed real.It thus makes sense that Diplo is bummed that he wasn't tapped to play Joe in the upcoming scripted television show based on the seedy, bats--t crazy Tiger King saga, with the role instead going to Nicolas Cage.But this doesn't mean Diplo isn't tracking time on the big screen.
