Kerry Katona has unveiled her latest tattoos in a series of snaps shared to social media – but one of the new designs looks remarkably familiar. The former Atomic Kitten star, who appeared on Friday’s edition of Steph’s Packed Lunch, showed off her new ink in a smiling selfie on Instagram as she shared her makeup look with fans ahead of her TV appearance. Dressed down in a white vest top and mid-wash dungarees, the blonde star wore her locks in a bouncy wave as she smiled for the camera.
Yet it wasn’t Kerry’s glamorous makeup look that attracted the attention of fans, but her tattoo sleeve, as it featured half a woman’s face that bore a striking resemblance to showbiz pal Katie Price. Designed by Tattoo Fixers star Jay Hutton, the face makes up just part of the elaborate sleeve design, which also features a lion’s face, compass and roses. While the design could be purely coincidental, many fans at home are convinced it’s actually a nod to Kerry’s strong friendship with Katie after they became good buddies on the 2004 edition of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
"Amazing tattoo, but I've got one question. Is that Katie Price?” asked one fan. While another quipped: ”That looks like Katie Price, I absolutely love it." Before a third remarked: "Thought was Katie price for a second.” Katie herself also commented on the snap, as she acknowledged just how similar they both were, having opted to get inkings at the same time.
"What are we both like getting sleeves now are lives are just mirrored,” wrote the former model. Since bonding in the Jungle almost 20 years ago, the stars have struck up a strong friendship with each other, and frequently like to comment on their social feeds as they stay in touch.
