Kendrick Lamar has discussed new album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers for the first time in a mini-documentary produced by Spotify. Lamar travelled to Ghana as part of the doc, stopping off at the Freedom Skatepark in the capital city Accra.
Virgil Abloh put up money to build the skate park prior to his death in 2021. During the short film, Lamar talks about his new music and pulls out "Father Time" as featuring his favorite lines on the album ("You really need some therapy, Real nigga need no therapy"). I'll keep it 100 with you, that wasn't my forte when people mentioned it to me. I'm still stuck how my pops think. To challenge myself to go to therapy? That's growth." At one point, meawhile, Lamar expresses his gratitude at being away from the discourse around the album as he visits Ghana for the first time.
Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers was released in May and features guests including Ghostface Killah, Summer Walker, and Portishead's Beth Gibbons. Later this year Lamar will head out on tour in support of the album.

Four craftsmen put in 1,300 hours of work to handset the diamonds.“The crown is a godly representation of hood philosophies told from a digestible youthful lens,” Free said of the creation.“Kendrick Lamar represents the artistry, risk-taking creativity and relentless innovation that has also defined Tiffany & Co.
