Katy Perry hinted she knew the 'real truth' about Russell Brand in a resurfaced interview following their split.
Brand, 48, was the focus of a Channel 4 and The Times’ collaborative Dispatches episode where he faced allegations of rape, sexual assault, and controlling and emotionally abusive behaviour. Speaking to Vogue, Katy claimed Brand had become controlling in their relationship and hinted she knew the 'real truth' behind their marriage ending. She said: "At first when I met him he wanted an equal, and I think a lot of times strong men do want an equal, but then they get that equal and they’re like, I can’t handle the equal-ness.
