A man has appeared in court this morning accused of murdering mum-of-two Katie Kenyon. Meanwhile police continue to search for her body.
Andrew Burfield, 50, appeared at Preston Crown Court and spoke only to confirm his name. 33-year-old Katie has not been seen since last Friday (April 22) when officers believe she got into a van and travelled to the Bolton by Bowland area.
Burfield, of Todmorden Road, Burnley, is accused of her murder. He appeared by video link at the court and is yet to enter a plea to the charge of murder.
