It’s no secret that The Duchess of Cambridge is already a fashion icon, but judging by her latest outfit, it appears she’s been taking style tips from her sister-in-law Meghan Markle. On Tuesday morning, the gorgeous mum-of-three stepped out in London to make a surprise appearance at the Parents and Children Together (PACT) headquarters in Southwark.
Kate’s outfit for the day consisted of black tailored trousers, a black top, and a stylish, grey check blazer that looks strikingly similar to one worn by Meghan during her Royal Tour of Australia with Prince Harry back in 2018. Meghan's blazer was designed by one of the Duchess’ close friends, tennis champion Serena Williams.
Meghan has also been known to layer simple, neutral pieces under her outerwear, and it seems that Kate has adopted that same approach to her styling these days. This didn’t stop the Duchess going all-out with accessories though. We love her gold buckle belt, which she teamed with a pair of pearl-drop earrings and a gold necklace from Astley Clarke, which retails at £160 here and features a lapis lazuli gemstone. The deep-blue stone compliments Kate’s sapphire engagement ring perfectly, at a first glance, we thought perhaps she was wearing a necklace from Princess Diana’s collection.
For her glam, the royal’s hair looked perfectly blow-dried as always, which she teamed with a subtle smokey-eye and a gorgeous pink lipstick shade. Her Royal Highness visited PACT to learn more about how communities can support parents and their families with their mental wellbeing and improve the health and development outcomes for young children.
