Kate Middleton and Prince William have shared a simple message to mark Meghan Markle's 41st birthday today, Thursday 4 August.Taking to their social media accounts, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 40, posted a photo of 37 year old Harry's wife wearing a cream dress, smiling. Over this, they wrote: "Wishing a happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!" Following closely behind them, Prince Charles, 73, whose unusual food habit was revealed recently, and his other half Camilla, 75, also shared a short and sweet message for the occasion.
Sharing a similar snap of Meghan, they wrote: "Happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!" alongside a red balloon emoji. Fans of the royals were quick to comment, echoing the same sentiments as one person wrote: "Happy birthday to one of the most humble, pretty and powerful woman alive.
May The Almighty continue to guide and guard you." Another shared: "Happy Birthday To Meghan Mountbatten-Windsor, The Duchess of Sussex, May there always be peace, love and joy in her life.!!" While a third added: "Happiest birthday to Ms Meghan [three birthday cake emojis] May this daring lady live long prosperous and happy life with her family." Last year, the Duchess of Sussex used her birthday to highlight causes close to her and on her 40th birthday she released 40x40. Alongside a hilarious video, the former actress detailed her plans for asking 40 friends to donate 40 minutes of their time to help mentor women going back into the workforce.
Meghan is conscious that big days such as her birthday put a “spotlight” onto herself and it's thought that she uses the occasions to channel the public's attention on a cause close to her heart. Speaking to Express, brand and reputation management expert Eric
