Kate Garraway has revealed her husband Derek Draper has lost eight stone in six months after he has been left fighting for his life. Good Morning Britain star Kate’s husband Derek, 53, was rushed to hospital in March after he contracted coronavirus.

Kate Garraway has been seen out with her daughter Darcey for the first time since taking a break from her TV work.The 53 year old announced earlier this month that she would be temporarily stepping down from her hosting duties on Good Morning Britain to help care for her husband Derek Draper. Derek, also 53, was hospitalised with coronavirus back in March and, although he has recovered from the illness, doctors are unaware if he will be able to recover from damage caused by the illness.
