Kate Garraway has been praised by fans for having a 'real' lived-in family home after her 'messy' house was revealed in a new documentary episode, Kate Garraway: Caring for Derek.The 53-year-old presenter opened up her home to viewers this week in a film that explored her husband Derek Draper’s situation being cared for at home.Derek, 54, returned home in April 2021 after spending a year in hospital fighting for his life after contracting coronavirus in 2020, which has since left him battling a number of ongoing health issues. In Kate's documentary, which aired on Tuesday 22 February, Kate, also 54, showed the realities of the work that goes into making sure Derek is comfortable and well taken care of.

Viewers were quick to compliment Kate's home for being 'real' and 'down to earth' in comparison with other pristine celebrity homes.
