But this halfterm has presented the couple with a much-needed chance to relax – and OK! can reveal how they'll be taking the chance to relax amid their "physically and mentally demanding" schedules. Jennie Bond has told OK! that this break is exactly what Kate, 40, and William, 39, need, explaining: "People always say royal life is an incredible privilege but it’s also very demanding mentally, physically and emotionally.

She added: "There’s a lot of travel, working the room, a lot being polite and courteous, and inquiring and being curious and interested. "It can be very tiring for them." Jennie says that the Duke and Duchess deserve breaks just as much as every other family, but the couple also want to spend time with their young children - George, eight, Charlotte, six, and three-year-old Louis - whenever they can.
"They do need to be allowed to have a break, and particularly, their kids are so young," Jennie continued. "Both of them are really hands-on parents and they want to be there for their kids. "There is a conflict between their private life and having enough downtime with their children." Jennie went on to address how Kate and Wills have had a lot of work to do after stepping up their duties when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex relocated to the US and stepped down as senior royals.
