K-Pop singer Park Bo Ram, who has been a prominent figure in K-Pop for over a decade, has 'suddenly' died at the age of 30. She is said to have been found unconscious at a friend's house, with a statement announced by agency Xanadu Entertainment confirming her death: 'Park Bo Ram suddenly left us in the late evening of April 11.' Her cause of death is currently being investigated and police have requested an autopsy. Bo Ram’s agency, confirmed her death on Friday, April 12 in South Korea with an announcement.
"Park Bo Ram suddenly left us in the late evening of April 11," the agency said, per All K-Pop. "Our hearts are deeply troubled as we deliver this sudden news to her fans. A wake and funeral proceedings will be scheduled after a discussion with the singer's family." All K-Pop claims a Namynagju Police Station report filed said the star was at a friends hour on the night of her death.
She reportedly went to the bathroom but didn't return, causing a friend to check on her.
There, they are said to have found her slouched over the sink and unconscious.
They tried to do CPR and immediately called for emergency services which transported her to Hanyang University Guri Hospital.
The site claims police intend on further investigating the cause of death by requesting an autopsy with the National Forensic Service. The singer-songwriter had recently released two new songs and was reportedly working on new music. One track, focusing on weight loss, was branded as being inspirational.

HYBE says that executives at the majority-owned subsidiary mya be attempting to break away from the conglomerate. “HYBE invoked the right to audit CEO Min Hee-Jin and top executives of its subsidiary label ADOR, called them to summon a shareholder meeting and sent an official letter to ask CEO Min to step down,” HYBE said in a statement emailed to Variety. Media sources in Korea have reported that the audit targets Min and one of her deputies and that computer assets have been seized and face-to-face statements already taken. They also report that HYBE suspects Min and her deputy to have circulated confidential information to outsiders in a possible bid to attract investors who would allow ADOR to gain its independence from the parent company.
