EastEnders actress June Brown and pop sensation Lady Gaga once met on the Graham Norton Show, and the interaction was one of the sweetest and most adorable moments to grace TV screens. The throwback comes as it was sadly announced that the Dot Cotton star, who appeared on the soap for 35 years, has died at the age of 95.
The two icons met back in 2013, during an episode of the BBC One chat show that also saw Jude Law and Greg Davies join the red sofa. "Oh my god, why does she have a purse with her, I can't," she said, before commenting further: "Oh my gosh she is a person with cigarettes, too fabulous I can't!" Sitting down on the sofa with the elegance fans have come to know the Dot actress for, June declared: "I'm going to show my legs." Gaga then squealed, as June teased: "Well I thought I have to outdo her, you see." The late star then took her coat off because it was too hot in the studio, but as she fussed with her outfit, the TV staple admitted her straps were showing.
