EXCLUSIVE: Joshua Rogers has been appointed as VP, TV and Streaming at Zealot, the award-winning advertising company creating trailers and marketing materials for studios, networks and streaming clients, Deadline has learned.
An award-winning creative director, writer, producer and filmmaker, Rogers joins from the advertising and design agency Buddha Jones, where he worked for 15 years, most recently as Head of TV/Streaming. During his time there, he was responsible for overseeing campaigns for such award-winning series as The Mandalorian, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Boys, Fargo, Emily in Paris, The Americans, Silicon Valley, Girls and Mr. Robot, among others. Also of note was his oversight of the agency’s A/V brand image and launch campaigns for such streaming services as Disney+, FX on Hulu, AMC+ and HBO Max, to name a few.
“Joshua came to us at a time when we were looking to expand our TV and Streaming division in a rapidly changing marketplace,” said Richard Melé, who was recently upped to SVP of TV and Streaming at Zealot. “His distinctive work cuts through the clutter and his incredible range of skills have combined to make him the go-to choice, not only to launch the biggest shows, but entire networks. The show would follow the lives of them and their circle of friends in the Valley, and is in early stages of development. None of the main cast has signed yet, but the new series is from a pitch by “Vanderpump Rules” executive producer Alex Baskin. With Season 11 on the #Scandoval-fueled “Vanderpump Rules” beginning production today, this new series appears to answer the question in the negative about whether Taylor and Doute, who are original cast members from the show, will be returning. Instead, the three of them, along with new cast members, will be getting their own show. Stassi Schroeder, who also was ousted from “Vanderpump Rules” in 2020, will not be a part of the spinoff.

Set to start filming on July, the third installment film will also star Hugh Bonneville, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Madeleine Harris and Samuel Joslin. Ben Whishaw and Imelda Staunton will also be back as the voices of Paddington and Aunt Lucy, respectively. Filming locations will include the UK, Peru and Colombia. The movie will mark the feature film directorial debut of Dougal Wilson, and reteams Studiocanal with Heyday Films following their collaboration on the first two films of the Paddington franchise. Studiocanal is fully financing and will distribute in the UK, France, Germany, Benelux, Poland, Australia and New Zealand as well as through partners in China and Japan. Sony Pictures will distribute in the USA, Canada and other key international territories including Latin America.
