trailer sees the ragtag bunch, led by coach Alex Morrow (Lauren Graham), head to a California-based summer hockey camp.The Disney Branded Television series, produced by ABC Signature, picks up after the Mighty Ducks team name was restored in Season 1. Led by their ever-encouraging coach Alex, the team takes to the road to attend a boot-camp-like institute run by the charismatic yet hardcore Colin.
But just as the new environment offers a place for the kids to excel at hockey without school to get in the way, the Ducks must triumph amid super-competitive stakes. In the meantime, Alex and Colin engage in a semi-good-humored rivalry as their teams face off during training.“The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” features returning cast members Brady Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Taegen Burns and DJ Watts.
Naveen Paddock joins the cast as a series regular. Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa serve as showrunners and executive producers.
Additional executive producers include Graham, George Heller, Brad Petrigala, Jordan Kerner, Jon Avnet and Steve Brill.Season 2 will premiere Sept. 28 with new episodes dropping weekly on Disney+.

Neon has acquired the North American rights to “How to Blow Up a Pipeline,” a heist thriller that made its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this week and was being sought by multiple studios. The film from Daniel Goldhaber played in the Platform section of TIFF and is one of the first major acquisitions from the festival.
Manori Ravindran International Editor Neon has acquired the North American rights to the thriller “How to Blow Up a Pipeline” out of the Toronto International Film Festival, where it world premiered in the auteur-driven Platform section. Based on Andreas Malm’s manifesto tackling the climate crisis, the film is directed by Daniel Goldhaber (“CAM”); produced, co-written and stars Ariela Barer (“Runaways”, “Atypical”); co-written by Jordan Sjol and edited by Daniel Garber (“CAM,” “Some Kind of Heaven”). “How to Blow Up a Pipeline” follows a group of young environmental activists who set out to sabotage an oil pipeline in a timely thriller that’s described as “part high-stakes heist, part radical exploration of direct action as climate activism.”

EJ Panaligan editor “Key and Peele” co-creators Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele reunite for leading voice roles in the new teaser for Netflix’s “Wendell & Wild.” The new stop-motion animated comedy horror film from Netflix is director Henry Selick’s first since 2009’s “Coraline.” Based on Clay McLeod Chapman’s unpublished book of the same name, the film follows two demon brothers with scheming tendencies, Wendell and Wild, voiced by Key and Peele respectively, who enlist the help of a 13-year-old named Kat, voiced by Lyric Ross, to summon them back to the Land of the Living. Selick and Peele co-wrote the adapted screenplay. In addition to Key, Peele and Ross, additional cast in the film include Angela Bassett, James Hong, Sam Zelaya, Tamara Smart, Seema Virdi, Ramona Young and Ving Rhames in supporting roles.
