A Colorado hiker who broke her leg and spent two nights stranded in the wilderness was rescued last week after a passenger aboard a passing train spotted her lying on a riverbank, officials said. The hiker, a female in her 20s from New Mexico, had gone on a day hike on the Colorado Trail in the Deer Park area when she left the trail, headed south along the bank of the Animas River, fell and broke her leg, said the Office of Emergency Management, San Juan County, Colorado.

The Golden State Warriors and All-Star Andrew Wiggins have agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension, his agents confirmed to ESPN. A Nevada man delighted fast food patrons by bringing a rescue camel to an In-N-Out restaurant in Las Vegas last week. Fergie, a dromedary camel, stood calmly as she was surrounded by cars in the restaurant's drive-thru on October 4.  Video shows the camel slowly moving through the drive-thru at the West Coast fast food chain while onlookers laughed and admired the animal from afar. After securing her meal, the camel walked with her handler to the parking lot area where she was surrounded by people who watched her enjoy her food.  Rescue camel Fergie was filmed standing patiently in an In-N-Out drive-thru before getting her French fries.

The family of a Colorado teenager who has been missing for more than a week is pleading with police and the public to bring more attention to the case. Even deceased JonBenet Ramsey's half-brother, John Ramsey, pressed the Boulder Police Department (BPD) — which has been handling JonBenet's murder case since 1996 — in a Friday tweet to look into 14-year-old Chloe Campbell's disappearance.
