Jonathan Ross has relived his fever dream experience of having Jedward turn up uninvited to his house. The Irish twins, who rose to fame in 2009 on The X Factor, are known for their chaotic ways, and it seems they didn’t disappoint when they paid Jonathan a visit. He recalled the wild experience on Paul Sinha’s TV Showdown, where is joined by Georgia Toffolo, Sindhu Vee, Chris McCausland, as well team captains Fay Ripley and Rob Beckett on the comedy quiz show, saying: ‘They visited my house uninvited one day.
‘I was sitting in my house, doorbell goes. “Jonathan! It’s Jedward!” And they were at the door. ‘I let them in and they were like a couple of puppies, they were running around, picking up things, dropping things, took a bite out of an apple, put it back in the fruit bowl, it was the weirdest thing.
And then they were gone. ’An experience we’re sure he’ll treasure. Jedward have certainly caused a bit of chaos since they rose to fame more than 10 years ago, calling out the X Factor and Simon Cowell on multiple occasions, and declaring themselves Bafta worthy when it comes to the drama.
Meanwhile, Jonathan’s no stranger to a wild celebrity experience or two, most recently finding out he’s related to fellow talk show legend Alan Carr.
