Steve Levitan is headed to streaming. In the first non-network green light for the Emmy-winning Modern Family co-creator, Hulu has formally picked up comedy pilot Reboot, with Keegan-Michael Key and Johnny Knoxville tapped to star.

Knoxville appeared in a 2013 spinoff film titled “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa,” but the “Jackass” brand has not been used since.The possibility of a fourth “Jackass” film has been highly questioned after cast member Ryan Dunn died in car crash in 2011.

Universal has dated two DreamWorks movies, Distant and Easter Sunday, as well as Amblin Entertainment’s The Last Voyage of the Demeter. 

Jackass film has landed.The preview shows the gang reunited on the big screen for the first time since 2013’s Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. Stunts in the trailer include Johnny Knoxville getting fired out of an enormous canon, poisonous snake bites and an exploding toilet.Most of the core team have returned including Steve-O, Jason ‘Wee Man’ Acuña and Chris Pontius.

This winter, Johnny Knoxville and his team of stuntpeople will share Jackass: Forever, the fourth installment in the beloved and influential filmed bodily harm series. It may be the final film to feature the original cast, but as Knoxville revealed in a recent GQ profile, Forever will star some new faces.
