John Lithgow Joins Martin Scorsese’s ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ for Apple

Director Jane Campion is back with the Netflix film “Power of The Dog” after a 12-year hiatus from feature-length filmmaking (she did make two “Top Of The Lake” series during this time). The western thriller has an impressive cast consisting of Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Thomasin McKenzie, and Jesse Plemons.

The latest film from Paul Schrader, the new thriller, “The Card Counter,” finds itself in a similar position as many features from the last year. The film was greenlit and began production prior to the massive worldwide outbreak of COVID.

Two-time Oscar nominee John Lithgow is joining the cast of Martin Scorsese’s American Western crime drama film “Killers Of The Flower Moon.” The film has been shooting since May of this year but keeps adding members to its cast.

The two-time Oscar nominee and 2x Golden Globe winner will play Prosecutor Leaward in the Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro film Killers of the Flower Moon which Martin Scorsese is directing. This is the first time that John Lithgow has starred in a Scorsese movie.
