John Legend just announced his eighth studio album, but it seems he forgot to tell his wife Chrissy Teigen the details!
The 43-year-old singer-songwriter took to his social media pages on Friday (August 5) to announce that Legend will be released on September 9.
The album will feature both Act I and Act II, both consisting of 12 songs each.
“Until this point, I’ve never used an aspect of my name as the title of an album,” John said in a statement. “I had to earn that, to live up to it by delivering in the performance and the music. And this is me saying, I’m proud of who I am, I’m confident in the work I’ve done, and I’m just going to declare it.”
Well, John forgot to tell Chrissy the title of the album before he announced it!
