Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears' child sexual assault lawsuit has been dropped after their accuser filed a notice of dismissal last Friday.  Cesidia Carosa confirmed to Fox News Digital that the lawsuit had been officially dismissed on Tuesday and included a photo of the dismissal notice filed to the United States District Court for the Central District of California. According to the notice, the lawsuit was dismissed "with prejudice" by the plaintiff identified only as Jane Doe, who also filed the notice on behalf of the second accuser, her minor brother John Doe.

Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard is set to be the subject of a new movie, Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial, which will stream exclusively on Fox’s streaming service, Tubi. Depp will be portrayed by Days of Our Lives actor Mark Hapka, with Megan Davis (Alone in the Dark) has been cast as Heard in the forthcoming film, which follows the ex-couple’s tumultuous relationship in and out of court. Station 19’s Melissa Marty will star as Depp’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez, and Law & Order: True Crime’s Mary Carrig will play Heard’s lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft.

Carson Burton Amiah Miller and Bill Heck are rounding out the cast of Searchlight Pictures’ upcoming horror thriller film “Dust.” The film stars Sarah Paulson of “American Horror Story,” Annaleigh Ashford and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in a story set in 1930s Oklahoma. It follows a woman who, during the region’s increasingly perilous dust storms, is convinced that a sinister presence is threatening her family. The film is directed by Will Joines and Karrie Crouse, and Crouse penned the script. “Dust” commenced principal photography this week in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Miller previously starred as Nova in the 2017 film from 20th Century Studios “War for the Planet of the Apes” alongside Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson and Steve Zahn. In 2020, she was also seen in David Oyelowo’s feature directorial debut “The Water Man.”
