“Citadel” Season 2, making him the latest filmmaker to tackle an entire season at once. Prime Video announced the news alongside confirming what’s been known for a few months: “Citadel” is returning for a second season.

And he’ll be doing so without his brother Anthony Russo, with whom he directed feature films like “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers Endgame” and the upcoming Netflix sci-fi feature “The Electric State.” It’s far from Russo’s first stint in TV, however, as the brothers initially made their bones as principal directors on shows like “Arrested Development” and “Community” before joining the Marvel universe with “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”“Citadel,” which stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas and features Lesley Manville and Stanley Tucci, premiered its first season on May 26.

This is the second woman to come forward publicly with sexual assault allegations against the Grammy-nominated country singer. The new lawsuit, filed Friday in Tennessee federal court, comes less than one month after Allen was accused of rape and repeated sexual abuse by a woman who worked on his former management team. Those accusations, first reported by Variety, resulted in Allen being dropped by his publicist and suspended by his label, agency and management. In the new lawsuit, obtained by Variety, the woman — who is identified as “Jane Doe 2” – alleges that she was randomly approached by Allen on a plane last year, and after that first meeting, the country singer pursued her and engaged in daily communication over the phone. After two months of constant, long-distance conversation, they agreed to meet in Las Vegas where, according to the lawsuit, she was sexually assaulted.

De Angelis made her international breakthrough in Susanne Bier’s “The Undoing,” alongside Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant. Prominent Italian shingle Cattleya, which is part of ITV Studios – and known for standout shows such as “Gomorrah” – produced “Citadel:Diana” which was created and filmed in Italy, where production wrapped earlier this year. Plot details are being kept under wraps though a tease of the next chapter in the “Citadel” Spyverse is featured at the end of the final episode of the first “Citadel” season.

On Season 2, however, it will be solely Joe Russo on directing duties, with David Weil returning as showrunner.
