Jim Carrey Is Open To Making ‘Ace Ventura 3’, But Only With A Director Like Christopher Nolan At Helm

There’s more Batman lore in the trailer as we see the Caped Crusader’s mansion and his secret library full of his suits. Oh, he’s also on his motorcycle, but it’s the one from the Christopher Nolan films.

Filmmaker Christopher Nolan (“Dunkirk“) is returning to the WWII genre with the biopic “Oppenheimer.” The film focuses on the group of scientists on the Manhattan Project that developed the atomic bomb for the American military that was unleashed upon Japanese cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The event ended the Pacific Campaign of the war as The Empire of Japan surrendered in the wake of the bombing.

A nearly three-hour Batman film, bordering on R-Rated, certainly not for kids, that’s nihilistic, darker than the Christopher Nolan films, and not really much of a traditional superhero movie released during a pandemic seemed like a risky endeavor for Warner Bros. earlier this year (read our review here).

Directors Greta Gerwig and Christopher Nolan are both seemingly attempting to cram as many actors as humanly possible into their respective films. The former is behind a live-action “Barbie” movie that sees Aussie actress Margot Robbie star/produce with a script that was co-written by Noah Baumbach (“Marriage Story“), which has been collecting as many names as there are versions of the iconic doll.
