Olympic cycling hero Dame Laura Kenny has officially been made a Dame Commander of the British Empire by the Duke of Cambridge at Windsor Castle. The request comes after a bit of back and forth between the pair. It all started Friday when Williams spoke with Fat Joe on Instagram Live, who asked Williams whether she'll tune into Shepherd's daytime talk show, , which will premiere this fall after officially comes to an end. Shepherd joined a list of celebrities — including Fat Joe — who guest hosted for Williams on  last fall after she stepped away from the show due to ongoing health issues.The decision to end was made in February, with producers announcing Shepherd's own daytime series -- aptly named  -- taking its place.«I like her, but I won't be watching her because I know what she’s going to be doing and that’s really not my thing,» Williams said.

ATLANTA -- Rappers Young Thug was one of 28 people indicted Monday in Georgia on conspiracy to violate the state's RICO act and street gang charges, according to jail records.The Atlanta rapper, whose name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams, was arrested at his home in Buckhead, an Atlanta neighborhood just north of downtown. He is being held at the Fulton County Jail.The conspiracy charge dates back to 2013 and the gang charge to 2018, the jail record says.Young Thug is allegedly one of three founders of the Young Slime Life, “a criminal street gang that started in late 2012” in Atlanta, the indictment says.

NEW YORK -- Friday's “Jeopardy!” match marked a turning point for the game show's latest mega-champ.The latest long-time champ on “Jeopardy!” has seen her winning streak end at 23 — by a single dollar.Mattea Roach, a tutor from Toronto, saw her winning streak end at 23 — by a single dollar.Roach earned $560,983 during her run on the game show. She's has one of the five longest winning streaks in “Jeopardy!” history, but didn't come close to Ken Jennings' record of 74 consecutive wins.Danielle Maurer, a marketing manager from Peachtree Corners, Georgia, beat Roach on Friday's show by a margin of $15,600 to $15,599.Unlike her second-to-last match, Roach went into the final question with the lead Friday.
