Javon Walton Teases 'Really Cool' 'Umbrella Academy' Season 3 Role (Exclusive)

Manori Ravindran International EditorChannel 4 has renewed the Lesley Sharp-fronted crime thriller “Before We Die” — an English adaptation of a Swedish series, produced by the team behind Walter Presents.Sharp will return as detective Hannah Laing, who joins forces with maverick detective Billy Murdoch (Vincent Regan) in a desperate bid to protect her son Christian (Gibson). Season 2 won’t follow the same storyline as its Swedish counterpart, which aired in 2019, but will see Hannah pitched directly against Dubravka, played by Kazia Pelka, the matriarch at the head of the Mimica Croatian crime family.The adaptation is produced by Eagle Eye Drama, which was formed in late 2019 by Walter Iuzzolino, Jo McGrath and Jason Thorp, the creative team behind the global drama company Walter Presents.

He was also a recurring mainstay on “Scrubs.” His film credits include playing Lindsay Lohan’s father in “Mean Girls,” “Major League,” and Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Magnolia.” Scardino was joined in-studio by her lead cast Philipps, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Sara Bareilles, and Paula Pell.When we last saw the women of “Girls5Eva,” they’d rocked a local Jingle Ball concert with their eponymous hit, which Scardino said provides a glimmer of professional hope for the next batch of episodes.“The bet paid off, because somebody in the crowd noticed them and gave them a small record deal.  So, this season is about them making their first album on their own terms,” she said.The group also gave credit for the show’s alchemy to executive producer Tina Fey, who was invaluable in putting the cast together.

Netflix has set a June premiere date for Season 3 of superhero series The Umbrella Academy. Series creator and showrunner Steve Blackman announced Sunday at SXSW that the third season will debut globally on Wednesday, June 22. Euphoria actor Javon Walton has hinted his character Ashtray could return in the show’s third season.In the season two finale, Ashtray stabs a fellow drug dealer which spirals into a shoot out with an entire SWAT team. During the tussle, trapped inside a bathroom, he accidentally wounds his brother Fez (Angus Cloud) before getting shot himself by the law enforcement officers.It appeared that Ashtray was killed, but Walton has teased that his character isn’t ruled out for a return in season three.Asked by Entertainment Weekly about the fate of Fez and Ashtray, Walton said: “Well you see him get arrested, so I’m sure he is going to be in the back of a cop car. And with Ashtray, we’re not a 100 per cent if he’s dead, because you saw absolutely no blood, right? And you didn’t see him fall.“You did hear the bullet, but you didn’t see him get shot.
