MLD Entertainment, the company behind K-pop girl group MOMOLAND, is gearing up to launch a brand-new group soon.Today (April 26), CEO Lee Hyung-jin spoke to South Korean news outlet Star News in new interview, where he revealed that the agency is preparing to debut a new girl group sometime in June. The upcoming act, named LAPILLUS, will include members who speak Spanish, English, Tagalog, Chinese and Japanese.Two members of the forthcoming group have since been revealed, and they are Japanese trainee Nonaka Shana, who recently appeared on Mnet’s reality TV competition show Girls Planet 999, along with Chantal Videla (known as Chanty), a Filipino-Argentinian model and actress.The duo have been active on MLD Entertainment’s YouTube ‘NADOL’ series, where they had introduced themselves as foreign trainees hoping to becoming K-pop idols in Korea.

FIFA has announced an ambitious plan for its own streaming service app, a global, ad-supported platform that aims to feature up to 40,000 live matches in 2022 alone, the association announced Tuesday.Called FIFA+, the service will offer live domestic league games, match stats, a massive archive and premium original content. Soccer’s highest governing body will not feature World Cup games on the service, however.FIFA says the streams will cover more than 29,000 men’s and 11,000 women’s matches across 100 member associations and all six global confederations.

The video streaming package includes 808 episodes of the “Yu-Gi-Oh!” TV series in English, and 541 dubbed in Spanish.

The Directors Guild of America, which represents more than 19,000 members, has launched a review committee to improve on-set safety following the Alec Baldwin "Rust" movie shooting that left cinematographer Halyna Hutchins dead and director Joel Souza wounded in October. The new team will be led by director Karen Gaviola, who is also involved in an upcoming round of studio contract negotiations, according to the Los Angeles Times. "We have been leading advocates for mandatory safety training and for demanding increased safety precautions on sets," the guild told the paper.
