Controversial Scots comedian Janey Godley announced the sad news earlier today that she is in hospital after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
The comic has been inundated with messages full of love and support, but revealed she has still had to deal with cruel trolls on social media.
Godley too to Twitter to respond to the trolls writing: "Just a wee heads up if you are tweeting me the words 'throwing the cancer card' - I won’t be angry at you, I won’t hate you and I won’t be upset.
