Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are opening up about welcoming Dolly Parton onto the Grace & Frankie set.
The trio are staging the long-coming 9 to 5 reunion on the Netflix series, which is entering its final episodes this month.

Dolly previously opened up about reuniting with her longtime friends, during an episode of Lorraine in 2021.
“I’ve been trying to do Grace and Frankie for years,” she said. “We worked so well together on 9 to 5, it’s a crazy wonderful show.”
Dolly added that they’ve “been trying to write me in somehow. So when it’s safe for us to actually do a production, when they’re back, I’ll probably get around to doing that.”
Now, in a new interview with ET, Jane and Lily are dishing on Dolly‘s cameo.
“It’s not just the fact that Dolly shows up. It’s how she shows up,” Jane revealed. “What the story is that brings her on. It’s just beyond perfect.”
She added, “We were both just so moved when she turned that chair around and there she was.”
The final episodes of Grace and Frankie hit Netflix on April 29.
