James Cameron to quarantine for two weeks before he resumes work on Avatar sequel

The production of James Cameron's much-awaited Avatar sequel is back on track in New Zealand. The filming of Avatar 2 was put on hold in March after the New Zealand Government instituted a lockdown amid the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic to promote social distancing and stop the spread of the deadly virus.

Avatar is back in action.

A few months ago, it was reported that James Mangold is set to be the first person not named Steven Speilberg to direct an “Indiana Jones” film. The Oscar-nominated filmmaker is now set to helm “Indiana Jones 5,” and according to one of the film’s producers, Mangold is the perfect person for the job.

Producer Jon Landau has spilled the beans in terms of some of the plot in the in-production Avatar movie sequels that are being directed by James Cameron. Landau spoke to New Zealand outlet RNZ and revealed that the films are about the Sully family, Jake (sam Worthington), Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), and their offspring.
