‘Jackboys’ Proves To Be A Breakout Moment For Houston’s Don Toliver

After releases like Lifetime's Whitney Houston biopic and documentaries like 2018's Whitney, diving deeper into the late icon's legacy is nothing new. Long-time producer and music executive Clive Davis, however, hasn't been pleased with the outputs thus far. He recently told The Los Angeles Times that “the story of Whitney Houston has not been told yet,” and that he was looking forward to putting together a new biopic of his own.

Cactus Jack Records just dropped its JACKBOYS compilation album headed by Travis Scott, and the project just debut atop the Billboard 200 with a whopping 154,000 album-equivalent units, Billboard reports.

After dropping the Cactus Jack compilation JACKBOYS on Friday, Travis Scott shared an accompanying short film to go along with the album. The eight-minute short, directed by Cactus Jack and White Trash, features Scott, Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, Luxury Tax 50 and some very impressive cars, including new Tesla models. The film ends up setting up the perfect segue, ending right where the visuals for the single "Gang Gang" pick up.
