ITV's newest drama Trigger Point has been accused of being 'ruined' as the first episode aired.
There were high hopes among viewers for the new six-part thriller due to it coming from Jed Mercurio, the brains behind Line of Duty and Bodyguard.
The series, starring Vicky McClure and Adrian Lester, revolves around the work of the Metropolitan Police Bomb Disposal Squad during a summer bombing campaign.
Episode one saw explosives officers Lana Washington (McClure) and Joel Nutkins (Lester) called out to investigate a potential bomb factory in a London housing estate - but there's no sign of the bomb makers.

They faced multiple potential explosives before a shock ending - and this is your SPOILER ALERT warning.
After believing they had thwarted one plot, in the final moments, Joel was seen checking on a van in the car park.
Looking in the window, he notices something amiss and begins to tell residents just being let back into the area to get back.
But as he shouted to Lana to bring him the clippers he uses to cut wires in bombs, the van explodes.
Before the episode came to an end, viewers saw Lana seen covered in dust with the daylight suddenly dark and clouded.
As she gets onto her feet and goes towards the other casualties, she finds Joel's arm in the rubble – which has become detached from his body.
The titles then began to roll leaving viewers having to wait for the next installment to find out whether Joel survives.
But those tuning in to Trigger Point found there was a major issue.
"The adverts are killing any attempt of tension. I'm waiting for flat 1912 to explode or whatever that number was #TriggerPoint,"
