Stars In Mars has just been confirmed to air in the US this year and will see TV stars known as 'celebronauts' learn to manage everyday tasks such eating and drinking, exercising and sleeping, while living in microgravity.They will also be tasked with competing against each other in various challenges. According to reports, the US version will swiftly be followed by a British one.
The first episode will air in America on 5 June and the iMDB description for the wacky programme reads: "Follows a simulation of what might be like to be an astronaut on Mars, all with celebrity contestants competing to be the last one standing." According to The Sun, the UK version of the series is currently in pre-production with Britain's Got Talent creators Thames TV and will be on our TV screens by 2024. The source said: "This show is zany and different - audiences haven't seen anything like it before.
It will be a challenge and some will struggle with the conditions.The celebs will live, sleep and eat together - and those who don't cut the mustard will get voted off.
