ITV’s true crime drama recalling the manhunt for armed fugitive Raoul Moat is nearing its conclusion. The Hunt for Raoul Moat airs its final episode tonight (April 18), bringing to a close the tragic true story of the violent killer and his victims.
Moat, 37, led police on a huge manhunt in July 2010 after a shooting spree left one person dead. Hundreds of police officers were tasked with tracking the on-the-run gunman, who was thought to be sleeping rough around Northumberland.
The former bouncer evaded capture for a week until police tracked him down and engaged in a tense six-hour stand-off. The dramatic three-part drama has recreated the shocking true events on screen, with a host of British actors portraying the real people involved, including Moat, his victims, and those responsible for hunting him down.
