First Dates star Fred Sirieix appeared to take a cheeky swipe at Nigel Farage as he arrived at Brisbane Airport in Australia ahead of the new series of I'm A Celebrity kicking off on Sunday.
At the airport, Fred was asked who he would least get on with in camp and he replied: “I'll let you guess, I'll let you guess!” And then began to laugh.
Fred has been described as a vocal 'Remainer' who once branded the ex-UKIP boss Farage a “coward who likes attention”, writes The Mirror.
Back in 2017, the TV favourite shared an article about Mr Farage and Brexit as he wrote: "Farage is a coward who likes money, attention & the sound of his own voice far too much. Definitely not a selfless idealistic revolutionary."
Teasing fans about his upcoming I'm A Celebrity appearance, Fred continued: "I've been camping before, I love camping. But I will miss from home my bed and coffee in the morning."
Asking on how he thinks he will get on on the jungle with the snakes and spiders, Fred said: "I don't know really. I mean we'll see we have got a lot of big stuff in Australia." The show is famed for its eating trials and Fred said: "I love frogs legs, witchetty grubs, why not?!"
He added when asked about winning the show: "You always want to win, this is going to be competitive y'know."
According to reports, Farage is set to become the highest paid contestant ever with a staggering £1.5million fee. The former UKIP leader and The Brexit Party founder was the first celebrity to arrive in Australia on Monday.
Last month, Mr Farage told GB News he was "seriously considering" offers from ITV but was weighing up the "downsides" of doing the show too. He admitted he was hoping to "connect with the [I'm A Celebrity] audience".
