It comes as Sam himself admitted that he almost pulled out of the entire show on day one. Sam sat down with his best mate and Staying Relevant podcast co host, Pete Wicks to chat about all things I'm a Celeb, where he admitted that he had a "full-blown" panic attack on the first day of jungle life. "So on the first day when we go in, I had a panic attack," Sam shared.
"And I went in really guns blazing, I was so excited," he continued, before adding: "I was like 'oh my god everyone's here', like energy through the roof and then suddenly it hit me what we were doing and I literally sat on my bed and went 'oh my god'".
The 31 year old then recalled his physical reaction to this, which he said included a fast heart rate and sweating. He also said that he really wanted to be sick, and had two specific thoughts going round in his head. One, was that he was "either really ill" and required the help of a medic, and two, that they may have looked at him and made the decision to pull him out of the show.
