Richard Madeley irritated Good Morning Britain viewers as he repeatedly interrupted a guest during an important interview. The presenter was back at the helm of the programme on Tuesday (April 5) alongside Kate Garraway.
During the latest show, Richard and Kate were joined via video link by former The Bill star Chris Ellison and his wife of more than 40 years, Anita. It was the actor's first television appearance since he was diagnosed with aphasia - a language disorder caused by damage in a specific area of the brain that controls language expression and comprehension, leaving a person unable to communicate effectively with others.
Chris was diagnosed with the condition after suffering a stroke in 2020. His appearance on the show also comes after Bruce Willis' family told the world that he'd be stepping back from acting after being diagnosed with the same condition.

GMB viewers became emotional as they watched Chris as they could see him wanting, and trying to speak, with Anita asking her husband if she was OK to step in and answer the questions on his behalf.
But at one point during the interview, Richard interrupted Anita as she passionately spoke about her husband having singing lessons.
"We discovered he has a great voice," Anit said before laughing: "Is there anything he can't do? That's what I say."
She explained how the singing lessons will carry on with her husband saying 'yes' in agreement. "We've had a couple and suddenly this voice came out. It was really weird and the teacher is 92. She's amazing, very strong."
