ITV Coronation Street star Fiz Stape could be leaving cobbles after 21 years

Fans were all left asking the same question as Fiz Stape left Coronation Street after almost 21 years. Fiz, played by Jennie McAlpine, has headed off to a new home with partner Phill Whittaker.

It would be hard to imagine Weatherfield without Fiz Stape - or Fiz Brown as she was when she arrived on the cobbles 21 years ago. She made her first appearance in the soap as a feisty teen fostered by Roy and Hayley Cropper after being neglected by her mother, Cilla Brown.

Gareth Pierce made a seamless return to screens in Coronation Street on Wednesday night as Todd Grimshaw reappeared in Weatherfield.
