Big Brother is almost ready to welcome a new group of housemates and the house is taking shape, with some intriguing features added.
The reality show's London set is getting the finishing touches and there are some parts that will be familiar to fans, but with an update for the rebooted version. Aerial pictures of the studio, where Wembley Stadium can be seen in the background, show a giant eye - the logo of the series - surrounding the door to the house where contestants will make their big entrance.
Interestingly, there is also a long ramp leading down towards what appears to be a dock close by to the studio, which is located next to a canal. The set's perimeter looks as though there could be access to the canal close to the entrance ramp, suggesting that there's a possibility of contestants arriving - or leaving - by boat.
The house's outdoor area can also be seen, which includes some intimate seating areas and the chance of some X-rated scenes thanks to the addition of a hot tub.
Fans of the series will remember that one of Big Brother's most infamous scenes involved a steamy encounter between housemates Makosi Musambasi and Anthony Hutton in the hot tub during the 2005 series, leaving questions about whether producers are hoping to recreate the moment in 2023. Big Brother originally aired on Channel 4, but later moved to Channel 5 until its cancellation in 2018.
Last year, ITV announced that they had snapped up the reality series and would be rebooting it five years on.
The new series is being hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, with original narrator Marcus Bentley returning with his familiar tones. A trailer for the series includes AJ and Will trying their best to do an impression of narrator Marcus, before he is heard
